ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
              University College of Engineering, Ariyalur formerly known as Anna University of Technology,
Tiruchirappalli-Ariyalur Campus was started in the year 2008 with 4 Under Graduate Programmes. From 2009 it offered 5 Under Graduate Programmes and offered two Tamil medium Under Graduate Programmes from 2010. The Institution is located 12 km away from Ariyalur towards Jayankondam.(NH227)

 

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
               The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is one of the Department of University College of
Engineering-Ariyalur. It was started in the year of 2009. The department has well established laboratories like Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Control and Instrumentation and Circuits. Power Systems Simulation Laboratory offers E-tap and Matlab Software’s. The Teaching Faculty members of the department are involved in research activities in the area of Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control systems and Renewable Energy systems.
